Milestone Achievement: Four ENTICHET CD144m²-12 Super Large Ceramic Disc Vacuum Filters Successfully Commissioned for Iron Ore Concentrate Dewatering

Recently, four sets of CD144m²-12 super-large ceramic disc vacuum filters independently researched, developed and manufactured by Yantai ENRICH Equipment Technology (ENTICHET) have passed one-off full-load commissioning at a large iron ore concentrate processing plant and entered formal continuous industrial operation. This landmark project adds another benchmark industrial reference for ENTICHET’s full range of over-144㎡ large ceramic filtration equipment, strengthening the global competitiveness of China’s heavy-duty solid-liquid separation machinery.

As ENTICHET’s flagship large-area ceramic vacuum filter, CD144m²-12 is professionally optimized for high-specific-gravity, high-density fine iron concentrate slurry. It adopts heavy-duty reinforced box frame, integrally forged thickened main shaft, full-coverage ultrasonic & online acid regeneration system, and high-tightness high-flow vacuum distribution assembly. Equipped with a full-autonomous intelligent control system, the filter integrates cutting-edge online monitoring modules, including real-time slurry flow analysis, ceramic plate regeneration condition detection, filter cake moisture online monitoring, and concentrated ore output dynamic statistics. The system automatically and adaptively adjusts spindle speed, tank liquid level, vacuum pressure and cleaning cycle based on real-time operating data, realizing unattended operation throughout feeding, filtering, dewatering, discharging and filter plate regeneration. After synchronous startup of the four filter units, the plant’s total iron concentrate dewatering capacity has achieved a substantial upgrade. The filter cake moisture is stably maintained between 8% and 10%, and clarified filtrate can be fully recycled in the whole mineral processing line. Compared with conventional dewatering equipment, the system cuts comprehensive energy consumption by over 85%, significantly reducing power, reagent and daily maintenance costs, and supporting the mine’s green, low-carbon and intelligent manufacturing targets.

ENTICHET’s cross-functional team covering R&D, manufacturing and global after-sales service delivered end-to-end support throughout the whole project cycle, including process design, structural stress simulation, full-unit fabrication, on-site erection and commissioning. Targeting core operating challenges such as highly abrasive iron slurry, round-the-clock heavy-load operation and low-temperature mine site conditions, our engineering team completed multiple rounds of targeted technical upgrades, effectively resolving common industry defects of large-size filters including frame deflection, vacuum leakage, ceramic plate clogging and uneven dewatering. The delivered system features high reliability, full intellectualized control and easy daily maintenance for large-scale concentrate dehydration.
